Portal stories mel ending2/22/2023 In the first episode, Wheatley is seen on his management rail humming Still Alive, the song that plays at the end of Portal 1. They are both happily on the ground, in the facility. In Meet The Cores 1, however, he is not in space. His unintelligence shines through when he accidentally wakes up GLaDOS, and tries to hack the control board using weak repeated-letter passwords. He also is endearingly hopeless and hesitant. Wheatley tends to be very talkative, as if you don't continue solving a puzzle or advancing in the game, he'll keep talking until you do. Wheatley places bombs in the stalemate button room as a trap to kill the player, resulting in an explosion in the ceiling from the in which Chell shoots a portal to the moon, creating a vacuum to space where Wheatley is sent to, thus, defeating him. He was supposedly "designed to be a moron." In the end of the game, you have to swap out Wheatley with GLaDOS, and this power drives Wheatley to become evil and betray you. In the game, he acts as a guide and helps you around what used to be Aperture Science. Wheatley is a character originating from Portal 2. He's the product of he greatest minds of a generation working together to build the dumbest moron who ever lived."
